TITLE: Repair Production Supervisor

LOCATION: ALPHARETTA, GA, USA

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor will work in an industrial environment with production associates in the repair and refurbishment of both NCR manufactured and third party manufactured electronics products. The Production Manager will work primarily in the management and development of NCR’s most important asset: Our People. They will ensure that the plant has the right people and skill sets in place to reach a high level of production efficiency, quality and safety to meet our production goals and develop our talent into future operations leaders.

Essential Functions:

• Be a visible leadership presence on the production floor for 30+ technicians

• Establish and administer employee selection guidelines & assist in production hiring decisions

• Establish and administer employee performance evaluation guidelines & promotion criteria

• Create and administer employee development opportunities

• Utilize production associate creativity to drive plant improvements

• Reward and celebrate employee achievements

• Measure and improve KPIs for plant performance in quality, efficiency and safety

• Facilitate a lean 6S plant culture with team values of openness, courage, respect, focus and commitment.

• Assist in implementation of plant continuous improvement initiatives

• Accountability for ensuring the production floor meets production targets

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent practical experience

• Knowledge of Spanish language (both written and spoken)

• 3 years of experience building teams and managing direct reports

• Strong communication skills required

• Experience in electronic assembly and leadership positions a plus

• Lean Six Sigma certifications a plus
