Sr. Outbound Product Manager, Platform Demo Solution

Job Description

Team

The ServiceNow platform product management team is the organization responsible for the foundational capabilities of the Now Platform, which are at the center of every “out-of-the-box” ServiceNow solution. You will be part of a talented and supportive group that is passionate about using and evangelizing our platform, internally and to our customers. Specifically, you will join the Demo Solutions Outbound Product Management team to aid in the go-to-market execution by designing and delivering compelling solution demos that bring the value of the Now Platform to life.

Role

You will be part of a team that builds and manages one of the most impactful go-to-market assets: the solution demos that highlight the capabilities and value of the Now Platform. You will deliver the architecture, configurations, demo data, quality control, testing, and documentation critical for product demonstration, operational efficiency, and closing deals. If you are looking for an opportunity to solve deep technical problems and build innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. You will work with product management, presales teams, and the demo infrastructure organization to turn demo narratives into inspiring demos for the field.

What you get to do in this role

  • Work in a Scrum-based Agile development process

  • Collaborate with the demo solutions team to architect, and design scalable demos based on requirements

  • Build and configure cross-solution demos to showcase the Now Platform capabilities while observing software development and architecture best practices (code reviews, unit testing, etc.)

  • Define, build, implement and participate in a robust testing framework to ensure demo deliverables are ready for sales to consume without error

  • Build solutions that will be consumed in multiple languages and specific to certain regions

  • Plan and execute compatibility and regression testing

  • Assist in triaging and fixing bugs against our demos

  • Create, deploy, and troubleshoot update sets

  • Deliver demos to the field with simple and compelling demo scripts, with demo enablement sessions/videos

  • Identify opportunities for demo automation and repeatable processes and content

  • Keep demo environments available 24/7

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Extensive development knowledge of the Now Platform and ServiceNow Products (4+ years minimum)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • Deep JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS and HTML skills

  • Scripting skills to build utilities, e.g. to simulate data center activities or to update records to current date/time ranges

  • Integrations experience including API development and/or Integrations Hub experience in ServiceNow

  • Passion for detail, debugging and problem-solving

  • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle process for managing product development

  • Exceptional communication skills to include technical and business concepts

  • Demonstrated being proactive without being told what to do

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and be efficient to minimize wasted effort

  • Proven ability to live up to commitments while maintaining integrity and focus on details

  • English - fluent
