Baseball Coaches - Community Ed Youth Instructors Community Ed Youth Instructors and Asst. Instructors are responsible for delivery of curriculum of Community School Programs for Grade 6-Grade 8. Date & Hours: April 22 thru May 23, 2024; Monday - Thursday practice, 3:10 pm - 5:30 pm; one tournament - game dates to be determined. Locations: Anoka Middle, Coon Rapids Middle, Jackson Middle, Northdale Middle, Oak View Middle, Roosevelt Middle Duties include: Baseball coaching - practice and games management. Schedule will have 6 to 8 games. Provide student safety and program presentation. Perform other duties as assigned. (Concussion training is required.) Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. (Concussion training is required.) Must be physically working in the building/on site. Preferred Qualifications: Previous Baseball playing and/or Baseball coaching experience preferred. Relevant work experience and previous experience with community school activities preferred. Advanced training or college degree preferred for coach and assistant coach positions preferred.
