Koniag Professional Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Acquisition Reform Analyst with a Secret Clearance to support KPS and our government customer at the Pentagon. This position is hybrid on/offsite at the Taylor Building.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide expert advice and assistance to Army stakeholders on acquisition reform and modernization matters.

  • Recommend, develop, implement Army policy, approaches, strategies, processes, and best practices in the areas of contracting, acquisition, program management, sustainment, logistics, engineering, science, financial analysis, and workforce training.

  • Perform acquisition advisory services and outreach to Army PEOs, program offices, contracting offices, and the scientific and technology community.

  • Support collaboration with industry partners on acquisition reform and modernization matters.

  • Support analysis, reporting, metrics, acquisition, processes, best practices, workforce development, and congressional activities to support Army acquisition reform and modernization initiatives.

  • Support data discovery (i.e., collection, integration, and presentation of data pertinent to program oversight), technical exchanges, and information sharing to improve the acquisition, technical, and program management of Army reform and modernization initiatives, strategies, processes, best practices analysis.

  • Conduct research, assist in conducting technical analysis, tracking, monitoring and quick reaction analysis and other related tasks as required in support of leadership for legislative proposals.

Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience in the development and coordination of education and training initiatives related to the implementation of newly issued Army Policy and policy implementation guidance.

  • Experience in proposing, drafting, reviewing, and staffing of various policy and guidance documents in support of acquisition reform and modernization initiatives, including regulatory initiatives, Army policy reform, and implementation guidance.

  • Experience drafting Army Acquisition Policy and policy implementation guidance that comply existing statutes as well as DoD/DA policies.

  • Experience advising Army PEOs, program offices, contracting offices, and the scientific and technology community, and stakeholders.

  • Experience in project coordination and Congressional engagements support.

  • Possess current DoD Secret security clearance.

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
