ManTech Director of Logistics in Arlington, Virginia

ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Director of Logistics to support the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) in Arlington/Crystal City, VA.

General Responsibilities:

  • Support Logistics and Sustainment (L&S) for programs on efforts such as: technical evaluation and identification of weapons systems L&S requirements and resources, development of L&S programs or plans, systems acquisition requirements analysis, life cycle cost analysis and control, weapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility, Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) improvement support, and Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning and execution.

  • Perform various tasks related to the operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon systems supportability or maintainability programs and information systems.

  • Provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) expertise in F-35 technical areas including: Avionics, Maintenance Planning, and Propulsion support.

  • Analyze logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and information to make informed decisions.

  • Use automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems to process all related logistics materials.

  • Coordinate program meetings, maintain documentation in knowledge repositories, and provide ad-hoc administrative support, as required.

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, support proposal efforts, and facilitate completion of engineering activities and transfer of information resulting in technical successes for the program.

  • May be responsible for the training, tasking, and mentoring of less experienced systems engineers/systems analysts.

  • Must have the ability to travel up to 10%.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of logistics experience

  • 5+ years of ILS experience in technical areas including: Avionics, Maintenance Planning, and Propulsion

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or additional experience

  • Extensive knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

  • Experience should include the following elements:

Security Clearance:

  • DOD Secret

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of logistics experience, including F-35 experience

  • 5+ years of F-35 ILS experience in technical areas including: Avionics, Maintenance Planning, and Propulsion

  • DAU Life Cycle Logistic (LCL) Level II Certified

  • Prior military intelligence experience
