Basic Job Functions

The Position:

Production Associatesmanufacture, assemble and support the production ofC.H.I. products. This could include the production of doors, door assemblies, or other support components.

Related Job Duties:

• Reads production paperwork and performs work as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Assembles the materials to produce garage doors and/or assemblies.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages and include correct shipping documents.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods in the proper area and/or trailer for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain production standards without compromising quality.
• Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-yearof previous general labor and/or customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing,operating heavy machines, punch tooling, and hand tools, and have mechanical aptitude.
