Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Ashland, Virginia

Aerotek is hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics in the Ashland, VA area!

Description:

Assist with daily production needs regarding breakdowns to support Operation’s goals

Maintain equipment by OEM manuals or implementation of PM programs

Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all machinery and production equipment

Skills:

mechanical, repair, schematic, preventative maintenance, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, air compressor, chains, bearings

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

-Bilingual (Spanish/English)

-Fabrication experience (MIg, Stick)

-Technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, plumbing, heating etc.).

-Experience troubleshooting PLCs (only two machines that have PLCs in the entire plant)

-Experience working in a saw mill or wood production

-Experience working on forklifts (propane and industrial)

-Experience with Air compressors (reading manual, coil issues, temperature control)

Shift : 12-hr weekend shifts Fri-Sun OR 11pm-7am M-F

Pay : $20-38/hr. depending on experience
