Vontier Sr ERP Program Manager - Finance in Augusta, Maine

Gilbarco Veeder-Root is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr ERP Program Manager to join our team. This role is critical for the continuous improvement of our ERP systems and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT or Financial Systems, with specific experience in ERP conversion or integration projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment. This role reports to the VP of Finance – Fueling Solutions, and is remote in the USA, with travel expectations of 25-30%.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ERP conversion and integration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, and develop comprehensive project schedules to ensure a clear path to success. Collaborate with various departments to understand their needs and integrate them into the ERP system effectively.

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, KPIs/metrics, and ensure that project goals are met with a sustainment plan.

  • Oversee data management within the ERP system, implementing new tools and applications to enhance analytical capabilities.

  • Provide training and support to users of the ERP system across the organization.

  • Continuously analyze and improve ERP system processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Determine resource requirements, including staffing, budget, and time, and allocate accordingly to maximize project efficiency.

  • Uphold the highest internal and external quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may impede project progress, ensuring timely and on-budget completion.

  • Manage multiple, interconnected projects, maintaining a strategic overview while ensuring each achieves its objectives.

  • Seamlessly integrate vendor tasks into the project plan, diligently tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables to ensure they meet project specifications.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in the ERP domain, managing large projects and processes with minimal oversight.

  • Mentor team members, providing coaching, reviewing work, and delegating tasks to foster professional growth and project excellence.

Qualifications:

Required Experience

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of in-depth experience in IT or Financial Systems, with a preference for those who have flourished in Manufacturing or Industrial environments.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful leadership in ERP conversion or integration projects.

  • Ability to travel internationally.

Preferred Skills

  • Mastery of project management principles, with a proven ability to navigate projects from initiation through to successful closure.

  • Advanced skills in data management and the implementation of cutting-edge tools to enhance data analysis and reporting.

  • A commitment to lifelong learning and aspiration to ascend within the IT field or similar disciplines.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.

Additional Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Relevant certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP), ERP systems, or equivalent areas are highly regarded.

  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and to respond proactively to evolving business demands.

The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $160,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
