Production Associate | Aurora, IL

$19 an hour

My client within the manufacturing and production industry in Aurora is actively hiring an experienced production associate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring a bagging machine filling bags with powders and also an automated palletizing machine.

• Loading bagging machine with empty bags and monitoring the machine filling them. The filling happens inside a housing to keep dust to a minimum but the environment is still going to be a little dusty. The machine will also seal the bag and move it to the automated palletizer.

• Monitor the palletizer and be prepared to troubleshoot and maintain operation of the machine. Possible issues could be a dirty sensor that needs to be cleaned, a track that has become misaligned, or bags not stacking properly, among others.

• Recognize issues quickly and be able to resolve them usually using basic hand tools.

Qualifications:

• Operated a machine of any kind.

• General labor experience.

• Lift and move up to 50lbs occasionally.

Work Environment:

• Must be willing to stand for 8+ hours

• Shift: 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM

• Monday - Thursday, OT on Fridays occasionally
