Job Description

The Data & Analytics team within Global Indirect Procurement is a high-performance, high-integrity, and high-growth organization looking for motivated and talented individuals with a passion for data, new technology, and finding solutions to tough problems.

All Procurement Data and Analytics professionals possess an innate desire to embed analytics into the Procurement organization where analytics are consistently used to derive business value. Team members will help operationalize data and make data actionable, turning insight into action.

This role is expected to:

  • Design automated tools for translating information to knowledge

  • Enable data centric decision making by leveraging relevant data and keen insights

  • Identify and document data requirements to support both ongoing and ad hoc analysis

  • Automate significant reporting processes

  • Develop and provide insights to organizations through access and interpretation of queries, reports, dashboards, and other metrics within the BI Ecosystem

  • Prepare informative and well-organized presentations showcasing insights and recommendations supported by data; know how to tell a "story" with data and insights

  • Seek efficiencies in data collection and aggregation through automation

  • Minimize or eliminate manual steps and construct automated internal reporting system

Main Responsabilities:

  • Develop a solid understanding of GIP business processes, tools, and data models to ensure end-to-end business enhancement

  • Collect and analyze P360 PR&PO data and prepare reports in response to GIP's and business stakeholders needs

  • Build and publish GIPs Operations dashboards

  • Monitor data integrity

  • Evaluate and drive excel, SQL, access and other tools/models as required to link data sources and enable accurate and efficient reporting. Evaluate and drive tool improvements.

  • Support project teams with reporting/process expertise.

  • Provide strategic counsel to GIP's Individual Contributors on communicating GIP's data driven contributions/story

  • Partner with PD&A colleagues and with the assigned Category team to deliver data and analysis required in support of financial value opportunities discovery.

  • Make recommendations on reporting and process improvements with a focus on automation

  • Monitor data integrity

Education and Experience Required:

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; may have advanced university degree.

  • Degree in: Computer Science, Information management, Business information systems, Mathematics, Economics, or Statistics

  • Typically, 4-6 years of experience required

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Storytelling and data visualization.

  • Power BI

  • Macros & Visual Basic Applications (VBA)

  • Microsoft Access

  • SharePoint

  • Microsoft Power Apps

  • Microsoft Flow

  • Nice to have but not required: SQL, Machine Learning, Web scrapping, Programming skills such as SAS, R, Python

  • PM is a plus

  • Very strong analytical and data modeling skills.

  • Very Strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.

  • Proven relationship management skills.

  • Results orientation, business acumen, bias for action, collaboration, and customer orientation
