Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper in Beachwood, Ohio. This role primarily involves handling accounts payable, general accounting, and payroll administration. The successful candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and maintaining the accounts payable email inbox

• Reviewing payment requests for accuracy and seeking necessary approvals

• Processing payments through various methods such as ACH, check, and wire

• Recording and reconciling payments in the accounting system

• Preparing daily and weekly cash reports and recording them to the general ledger

• Analyzing investment holdings and recording activity

• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly cash flow projections and variance reports

• Processing and managing payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with regulations

• Calculating and processing deductions and reimbursements

• Assisting with month and quarter-end closing

• Implementing policy and procedures, particularly for accounts payable

• Analyzing trends for budget planning and taking on additional reporting as required. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Bookkeeping

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Strong data entry skills required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience in Month End Close activities

• Familiarity with Payroll processing

• Must have experience using QuickBooks accounting software.
