The Finance Manager will be joining the Performance Management team within Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), which consolidates and reports critical financial and operational information, supports internal FP&A planning teams, and provides insights to the highest levels of Executive Leadership Team. This individual will be at the forefront of the digital revolution as we look to enhance business processes through the capability of IBM planning analytics (TM1). You'll get to develop solutions that enable growth and allow the business to make swift, informed decisions. Job Responsibilities: Finance Manager is responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, secure IBM planning analytics (TM1) solutions to deliver actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, other key business performance metrics by accelerating forecast cycle times and alleviate cumbersome manual processes. Role requires deep business understanding and attention to detail. Build driver-based models and scenario planning applications Develop ETL pipelines for data flows to TM1 Partner with peer Finance teams to ensure consistent design & integration. Challenge the status quo; develop solutions that unlock automation and create a better path forward for users and key customers Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to solve business problems Assist team management in defining projects, including helping estimate, plan and scope work Actively contribute to the team's knowledge and drive new capabilities forward Mentor other team members and coach the end users in best practice and tool usage Responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed Education: Bachelor's Degree Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, or another quantitative field required Work Experience: 7+ years of industry experience in Analytics and Planning, Financial modeling Data Engineer role, Data Visualization tools 2-4 years of experience with languages like Python, SQL, DAX Experience working with relational or multi-dimensional databases Experience with EPM/BPM tools like Oracle EPM, Cognos TM1/IBM Planning Analytics or Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy Excellent communication skills and ability to present to business and technical teams, or management in verbal, written, and/or visual form, with supporting details Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Experience in IBM planning Analytics (TM1) is a plus #LI-Hybrid #LI-Corporate * At least 18 years of age * Legally authorized to work in the United States At T-Mobile, our benefits exemplify the spirit of One Team, Together!
