My client is looking to hire a Network Administrator in Ft. Worth, TX ASAP. The Network Administrator III is responsible for planning and coordinating updates, enhancements, and expansions of systems. The Position also manages and monitors corporate network hardware and systems; develops technical enhancements, solutions, and efficiencies.

Required and Desired Education and Experience

  • BS/BA Degree in computer science or a related field is required or

  • 6 + years of work-related, on-the-job training, and/or vocational training.

  • Manages and monitors networking assets, limiting focus to assigned subset of functions such as routers, switches, firewalls, and core networking applications.

  • Participates in the implementation of PBX new software release, including providing server and network expertise for ongoing maintenance of VolP PBX.

  • Participates in rotating after hours on call schedule to support the LAN/WAN/VoIP environment.

  • MS Office programs

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: ITIL, CCNP / CCIE, VMWare NSX, MS Azure or similar certifications or the willingness and ability to obtain such certification within 12 months of employment.
