Support the day-to-day functions of the Payroll department as a Payroll Clerk at a growing company Robert Half has partnered with in the Benicia, California region. This advanced position is best suited for a self-starter looking to further their career and work with an industry leader. The company is looking for a candidate to join their dynamic, fast-growing team who can effectively communicate with both the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Clerk's duties will include data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. Are you looking for a Payroll Clerk position? • Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

• File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required

• Build a system of administering and distributing reports

• Update data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

• Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

• Run and build custom reports

• Manage communications with employees on timesheet approvals

  Requirements - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Reconcile Payroll experience

• Weekly Payroll experience desired

• Deep understanding of Process Payroll

• Knowledge of Certified Payroll

• Sound written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail

• Proven ability to quickly learn new systems

• Excellent data entry skills

• Previous payroll experience

• Payroll software experience suggested
