Aerotek is hiring for a maintenance mechanic in Sicklerville NJ!

Description:

Maintenance Mechanic performs routine maintenance and repair work on machinery, equipment, systems, buildings, and facilities.

• Perform mechanical preventative maintenance on all equipment according to schedule

• Inspect machinery, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair to keep production running (reducing down time)

• Effectively troubleshoot all mechanical equipment, corrective action, repair, replace or rebuild

• Read, interpret and follow blueprints and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete the job

• Complete work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, et.

• Perform clerical duties as necessary to maintain proper records

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Perform maintenance on industrial machinery, industrial ovens, and mobile equipment

• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gear boxes, bearings, and power transmission

• Prefer some fabrication, ability to use a mill and lathe

• Welding is a PLUS

• Computer Skills, Microsoft Office

• Experience with Machine Safety, guarding, hot work, and lockout/tagout
