Job Description

As part of our dedication to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as a Sr Operation Technology (OT) Innovation Lead.

The role offers a great opportunity to drive technological innovation by leading the identification, evaluation, and implementation of innovative technologies and solutions from concept to implementation!

Core Responsibilities

In this position you will become an important player of ideation and proof of concept/technology towards becoming more sustainable from a circular business model perspective. Innovation with automation lenses and hand in hand with other skilled colleagues will bring forward a sustainable future.

  • Automation Ideation of technical solutions

  • Proof of Concept testing of automation solutions

  • Provides technical mentorship for automation and IT architecture for development and design of automation/software for equipment in collaboration with suppliers and mechanical designers.

  • Ensures modularity and robustness for automation and mechatronics related technology for next generation of production equipment.

  • Support collaboration development of multi-functional team.

  • Actively engage stakeholders and customers during and post the ramp up phase of new automation equipment.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Proven background and experience in Automation with previous experiences in Allen Bradley, and/or B&R PLC that includes system installation / troubleshooting experience (development, design, and PLC-programming).

  • Wide component knowledge in the automation area with strong industry knowledge of other automation brands and the ability to assess strength and weakness between different solutions.

  • Previous experience in leading innovation initiatives and driving successful technology implementations would be an advantage.

  • Knowledge about innovative technologies and innovative consumer trends

  • Excellent communication skills and effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams.

  • Strategic problem solver with a passion for innovation and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Travel days of 20 - 30 days in a year should be expected.
