DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: PURPOSE: Performs preventive maintenance on trailers, tractors and yard tractors. Responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy duty refrigerated trucks and trailers.

SCHEDULE: * Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Perform Preventive Maintenance, Inspections and General Repairs * Air and Hydraulic Brake Diagnostics and Repairs including ABS systems * Electrical Diagnostics and Repair * Diagnose and repair Liftgate systems, Weld and Fabricate as needed * Diagnose drivelines, steering, suspensions and repair * Charge all parts to repair orders * Perform Tire and Wheel End Maintenance as needed * Perform quality work and quantity production * Repair order entry and time accountability in RTA Maintenance Program * Assist mechanics in repairs and continue to learn advanced diagnostics, repairs and systems * Performs other relevant job duties as required.
