Conduct thorough inspections to ensure materials meet required specifications. Organize cut metal into totes or pallets for manufacturing processes. Install the correct blade size for each material type and size. Maintain fluid levels in the lubrication system and clear chip collection systems. Address any irregularities or machine malfunctions promptly. Use measuring devices like calipers, tapes, and scales to maintain accuracy. Utilize computer software for managing work orders and logging job completion and material certifications. Requirements of the bandsaw operator / material handler: Demonstrated experience in precision bandsaw operation and material handling. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
