Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Specialist be responsible for all phases of the Facilities Quality Management System at the site, including but not limited to: self-performed or outsourced janitorial, pest control, and preventative and corrective maintenance. This position will also:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to facilities teams in support of site audits, external audit support, and facilitate compliance policy training when necessary.

  • Locally manage audit response and regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance, while maintaining alignment with the overarching account wide QMS program.

  • Report the performance of the QMS (including results of audits, corrective and preventive actions) and any needs for improvements.

  • Creates, edits, tracks and maintains all SOP related documents from inception to production. Modifies and edits information as needed.

  • Communicates with other managers to coordinate operations and activities.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement recommended corrective action.

  • Develop and provide training to others.

  • Brings together staff of different disciplines and drives the group to plan, formulate and agree on comprehensive quality procedures. Interfaces with process leaders to capture, edit and maintain process flows of operational procedures

  • Develop supporting materials such as illustrations, process flow charts, and business flows

  • System experience - ETQ, cPDM, JDE, Compliance Wire

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulated products and procedures as well as external certifications and accreditations.

  • Works with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • 3+ Years experience in a related role (Quality Assurance)
