As the Senior Manager, SBU P&L, you will be responsible for communicating ongoing business results to the SBU GM, driving the business unit P&L forecast process, and influencing the business team to optimize the return to Micron in areas of pricing, cost reduction, supply prioritization, product analysis, and tradeoff decisions through financial analysis and communication. This is a highly collaborative role working directly with sales, marketing, business operations, pricing, supply chain, and other business units and finance groups and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role requires energetic and passionate pursuit of understanding key financial variables of the business, an ability to identify areas for improvement, then influence and provide guidance to business decision makers in an authoritative and reliable manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly and monthly reporting and analysis of business results including commentary and insights to senior BU management. Drive deliverables for executive reviews including financial material for CFO, CEO, CBO, and BOD reviews.

  • Drive the BU business plan process through cross functional partnership between the finance team, Sales, and BU teams. Manage finance team to load forecast inputs into the system, build presentations, and communicate the forecast and key messages to stakeholders

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis including product, margin, cost, inventory, and pricing analytics

  • Drive process and systems improvements within SBU and through partnership with other BUs

  • Develop highly capable finance team through mentorship and training
