Aerotek Manufacturing Systems Planner in Bothell, Washington

Manufacturing Systems Planner

Pay: $45-$55

Schedule: M-F 8-4/5pm, optional Friday from home

A leader in quantum computing is hiring a manufacturing systems planner at their Bothell location!

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Identify critical path shortages and work cross functionally to drive gating issues to closure, including communicating with key suppliers on urgent deliveries and other Material Planners on items they are managing

  • Use pegging reports to analyze the relationship between demand and supply of materials, identify any discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner

  • Interpret Bill of Material (BOM) changes, assess the impact on manufacturing, identifying and mitigating items misaligned to production needs

  • Interpret signals from Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) to analyze and drive to action required to meet manufacturing build schedule

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience obtaining and negotiating quotes from vendors

  • Experience with PLM

  • Experience with data entry into ERP (NetSuite preferred)

  • Strong business acumen in regards to planning, procurement, inventory management, and operations.
