Space Lab Technologies, LLC Business Development Manager in Boulder, Colorado

Overview: Space Lab Technologies, LLC (Space Lab) provides new technology development, research, and engineering support services for space science and exploration systems. Space Lab is currently seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive business growth and transition products to market. The BDM ensures the company remains aligned with Space Lab s mission to sustainably advance human space exploration through space science research and technology development. The BDM reports to the Chief Business Officer. The expected start date for this position is July 1, 2024.

Responsibilities: -Company Business Strategy in the Aerospace Industry -Product and Marketing Strategy -Sales & Revenue Forecasting -Customer Discovery & Relations (e.g. contacts, meetings, documentation) -Track Progress of Prospective Business Opportunities -Market Opportunity Identification -Coordinating Market Analysis -Proposal / Solicitation Schedule, Writing, and Review -Contract Development -Communication with stakeholders -Report Writing -Presentations to Customers and to the Public -Drafting Customer Quotes -Coordinating Web Design and Upkeep -Creating Marketing & Social Media Content -Train Team Members to Present According to the Business Strategy -Manage Booth Materials and Displays for Trade Shows and Conferences

Requirements: This position requires knowledge and experience of the aerospace market. Space habitation systems knowledge is desired. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and Publisher. U.S.A. citizenship is required. Travel for conferences, customer presentations, and rocket launches is required approximately 8 per year. The position is a full-time exempt position of 40 hrs/week, where the duties require minimal supervision. Overtime work above the 40 hrs/week is expected only to meet deadl

Education and Experience Requirements: MBA with +2 years or at least 5 years of related experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 to $150,000.00 /year

Additional Compensation: -Signing Bonus of $5,000 -Performance-Based Bonus given at Holiday Party
