Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the electrical systems of all plant equipment, including conveyors, rollers, mixers, and performing some light facilities work with light fixtures as needed. This role offers a great opportunity for overtime and to become one of the top electrical professionals on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy electrical maintenance, control systems, and gearboxes that power the plant.

• Proficient in working with AC/DC motors.

• Skilled in PLC troubleshooting.

• Knowledgeable in 480V, 3 phase motor controls.

• Adept in electrical power distribution systems.

• Ability to work effectively in a loud, dusty environment with temperature extremes.

Work Environment

The role is based in an aggregate plant for the cement industry. Please note that the work environment is very loud, dusty, and can experience temperature extremes, cold in winters and hot in summer.

Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM

Contract Details

This position is Contract to Hire for a duration of 6 months.
