Insight Global Business Development Manager - Customs Brokerage in Brampton, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Development Manager for one of our major Shipping and Logistics client. They are looking for an experienced sales professional with experience in the customs brokerage space. This is a new division in the company, and we are looking for someone to develop sales strategy and well as be an individual contributor for business development to acquire new clients in the space. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to build and grow a new division with an industry leader!

Business Development

* Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities.

* Prospect potential customers and build strong relationships.

* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.

* Create sales strategies to penetrate new markets.

Key Account Management

* Manage large key accounts effectively.

* Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Sales Strategy Roadmap

* Identify revenue growth opportunities.

* Optimize pricing strategies to enhance profitability.

* Develop a sales strategy roadmap to plan for growth in this new practice area

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the customs brokerage space

* Experience developing sales strategy

* Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment

* Strong leadership skills and ability to drive new growth * Familiarity with international shipping regulations and customs procedures.

* Experience working with large-scale clients or multinational corporations. null
