Job Description:

The Education & Events Specialist is responsible for the complete coordination for live/virtual education and facilitation of events, tradeshows hosted on or off-site. Responsibilities include coordinating the logistics for pre and post events & tradeshows for the North American market. This is a part time position (25 hours per week)

Job Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and implementation of all logistics aspects of conferences and/or special events, and tradeshows, including program design, maintain project schedules, and development, meeting space, F&B, and other activities.

  • Compile estimated cost models, submits final budget statistics, ROI, P& L, sales analysis and prepares management reports.

  • Manage reports for tracking related costs, registrations reports, monitor contract compliances, and prepare billing files (registrations tuition), hotel billing, event calendar update, reimbursement, and invoicing on a timely manner.

  • Negotiate hotels and vendors on contracts and terms to minimize ORMCO’s liability for cancellation and rescheduling while ensuring costs remain within budget.

  • Serve as liaison between vendors and organization staff in arranging meetings.

  • Maintain relationships with preferred vendors, customers and internal team.

  • Work with Marketing Managers and Product Managers on existing and new products for events.

  • Work with Sr KE Relations, Education and Events to support the event goals and objectives and strategies to increase attendance events.

  • Schedule pre and post meetings to determine the event met the objectives and identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for improving future events.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate Degree preferred

  • 5+ years' experience in Education and Events management

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
