As a Product Manager in the Chief Data Analytics team, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Job responsibilities

  • Refine and evolve business, operational, and control requirements to drive agile product development of the strategic System of Record for index data in alignment with wider business priorities

  • Enable integration and adoption of product features and functions; manage a sustainable onboarding and support model for new prospect consumers

  • Demonstrate progress and deliver on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) associated with the product

  • Progress and champion the business case and vision for the product

  • Liaison between product technology & operations and business stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product roadmap

  • Ensure that index data adheres to firm-wide and governance and ownership standards

  • Partner with 3rd party vendors and internal 3rd party oversight & controls to deliver low-risk, high-value solutions to front and back office stakeholders

  • Directly and indirectly manage a fast pace team where every day presents a new challenge!

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area

  • Demonstrate a level of understanding of market reference data, preferably a background within index processing

  • Solid practical understanding of the financial service businesses, products, and processes

  • Ideal candidate is likely to have previous experience either from Asset Management, Fund accounting, Hedge Funds or market data vendors

  • Strong communications skills both written and verbal

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong program and project management skills or product management experience

  • Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable pieces

  • Ability to get to the heart of the problem and make suggestions for resolution

  • Highly skilled in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization

  • Familiarity with data from Bloomberg, Morgan Stanley MSCI, and other equity, fixed income, and alternative index market data providers is preferred

  • Strong personal and professional integrity, and strong work ethics

  • Results orientated, willingness to commit to delivery and take charge

  • Ability to manage relationships across all AWM functions

  • Ability to develop cooperative and constructive working relationships across globally distributed teams

  • Collaborative team player orientation towards work relationships, strong culture awareness
