In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our internal partners to craft and refine engine installation and cooling systems for our Paving Products. Your work will directly impact the performance, durability, quality, and serviceability of our offerings, ensuring they exceed expectations. Join us in shaping the future of our products!

What You Will Do:

  • Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Cost Reduction initiatives for large engine installations and cooling components/systems in Reclaimers and Cold Planers.

  • Engage with external suppliers to pioneer the design and validation of component for NPI programs.

  • Spearhead concept creation, design, development, and feasibility studies for intricate engineering ventures.

  • Conduct in-depth technical assessments of key systems in analogous industry products.

  • Lead and actively participate in in internal validation processes, overseeing build, test, and inspection of developmental hardware.

  • Coordinate verification testing and simulation activities, including FEA/CFD, both locally and with our supply chain partners.

  • Identify, assess, and swiftly resolve design and manufacturing challenges to optimize product performance and production efficiency.

What You Have (Basic Qualifications):

  • Degree requirement: Bachelors in an accredited Mechanical Engineering, Ag Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

  • Demonstrate progressive technical excellence in developing and testing of engine installations and cooling systems for off highway machines.

  • Demonstrated project management expertise in leading the design and development phases, ensuring timely delivery of engine installations and cooling systems for Reclaimer and Cold Planers.

  • Proven experience in product testing methodologies to conduct comprehensive evaluations and verification testing of major system components.

  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve design and manufacturing challenges, optimizing product performance and serviceability.

  • Location: Peoria, IL or Minneapolis, MN

  • Domestic relocation will be provided to Peoria, IL only to those who qualify.

  • ISE assignments are not available.
