Eastern Europe covers all Partner Markets on Beer and Spirits across Europe and Central Asia. All in all, 43 countries across 6 time zones and with an LPA+ consumer base of more than 300m people. The size of Total Beverage Alcohol is $41BN Retail Sales Value, and we have 2% share of that, so there is 98% to go for, we have a massive potential to exploit. Eastern Europe is designed for high growth and operates in an environment where premium drinks categories are growing fast. It’s also a highly volatile business with many challenges but with even more opportunities to grow and learn both our business and our people

Eastern Europe has 110 employees in 13 locations within Europe. Our organization is naturally diverse and inclusive.

Purpose of the role:

As Business Partner, your role is to ensure we have the right conditions in place to develop and release the potential of our talent, our leaders and their teams to achieve our Eastern Europe Ambition.

Top Accountabilities

  • Partner with the commercial & functional leadership teams to build and deliver ambitious and disruptive talent plans which includes robust succession planning to future proof the business, resourcing for our biggest opportunities at pace, strong proactive pipeline of talent, and creating exciting accelerated career path for key talent. This will include ongoing collaboration with the global Functions HR BPs and HR Bps in other markets, L&D center of excellence and participate in sprints within Europe or Globally that creates new tools for this purpose. The role to represent EE on the Europe Talent Forum, which is bringing together internationally mobile talent on Europe markets with open roles.

  • Lead the Organisation Effectiveness agenda across the different functions – grounded in the market strategy and by using data and analytics creating possibilities that results in impactful and pioneering performance, deliver cost efficiencies and injects the right reinvestments. The role provides change leadership across the organization by pulling the levers of across capability, process, ways of working, culture and leadership to deliver the outcomes for the business. In the process of design and execution liaises with COEs (reward, OE, other technical teams). Bring standard processes from the market to enable the best design for purpose.

  • Drive inclusion and diversity agenda bespoke to each function across all HR levers (talent, reward, culture, learning, etc) that creates an inclusive culture where each employee feel valued for their uniqueness and are able to improve their impact. Develop line managers by coaching and feedback.

  • Contribute to building impactful teams, coaching line managers to create an agile and growth centered approach along our Dial Up Behaviors (Be externally curious, Collaborate Efficiently, Experiment and learn, Act decisively)

  • Instill a continuous learning culture throughout the organisation ensuring employees have access to stretching experiences and great learning content that fuels constant growth in their capabilities as required by our strategic goals.

  • Champion people related projects , be able to engage cross-functionally behind people agenda and lead cross functional teams to bring these projects for successful execution, sometimes in cooperation with the HR Coordinator.

About you

  • At least 5 years of HR partnering experience, either as HRBP or in a Center of Excellence

  • A highly developed curiosity to understand what drives the business and how the varying agendas across each function contribute towards driving the market forward, enabling the leaders to be able to contribute through seeing each scenario through the lens of both the business objective and the people agenda

  • Successful collaboration and influencing across a variety of partners at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes. Ability to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect

  • Highly conceptual – is able to join the dots, understand and drive insights from HR data, create data driven strategy/picture of success that connects to market ambition. Communicates with influence.

  • Deep understanding of organisational design principles and how to create principles for each function to drive growth/ functional progression

  • Change and project management skills (including influencing change)

  • Excellent talent judgement – ability to assess talent gaps, and suggest actions needed to strengthen the talent bench

  • Being able to excel when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment.

  • Deep personal accountability for great performance
