How will you make a difference?

As a Supervisor of the Test Engineering Group , you will interact with various engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications. Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Supervises crew of Engineers and Technicians.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in mechanical or electrical engineering, from four-year college or university,

  • 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Supervise and mange various projects of Test Engineering, interacts with various engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.

  • Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions.

  • Assists in the developing internal quality and ISO systems, technicalstandards for Test

  • Engineering and the maintenance of reliability programs.

  • Analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports.

  • Work with limited supervision. Very hands-on in troubleshooting Mechanical and Electrical systems.

  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures.

  • Knowledge of the existing and planned approaches and methods for manufacturing products or product components.

  • Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for designing, building and managing the manufacture of new products.

  • Knowledge of the methodology and associated phases, activities and deliverables for the design of new products and the enhancement of existing products; ability to apply the methodology in

  • diverse scenarios.

  • Knowledge of the methodology and associate phases, activities and deliverables for manufacturing new or enhancing existing products.

  • Ability to design, plan and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure product quality at all stages of manufacturing.

  • Knowledge and associated ability to apply technical, scientific and mathematical knowledge to design and implement materials, structures, machines, devices, systems and processes that safely realize a desired objective or invention.

What about the physical demands of the job?

  • The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus.

  • While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
