Job Description

An employer in Carlsbad, CA is looking for a C# software developer. This company manufactures a fluid dispensing robot that runs on a proprietary software used by cellphone manufacturers. This developer will need to be a self-starter with a strong programming background, who can work independently and enjoys a challenge, and who also has experience communicating and collaborating with other developers. This is a very collaborative group that focuses on test-driven, quality code. This Engineer will be working on new custom features and software upgrades for the employer's largest clients. They will be writing C# and .net code and will be responsible for writing new code as well as updating existing, performing unit testing, and optimizing applications written in C#. This team is based out of Carlsbad, CA and has a hybrid model working onsite 3 days per week. This is a rolling contract position.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ Years programming background in C#/.Net - can independently create software systems

-Experience with Unit testing and TDD best practices

-Bachelors degree in CS, CE, or EE

-Self-starter mentality, passion for curiosity, and desire to take initiative on projects and challenges

-Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and collaborate with team members effectively -Experience developing WPF Windows Desktop Apps or Winforms

-Experience programming in C#/.Net software that communicates with robotics, pneumatics, machine, motion control, or devices

-Experience programming in C++, embedded or firmware development null
