Alliant Energy is seeking a motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in transforming business problems into actionable insights by leveraging data analytics. From identifying trends to providing strategic recommendations, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive informed decision-making and optimize business processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Works independently to develop scalable, innovative approaches to extracting, managing, and analyzing data.

• Works to develop and support embedded analytic strategy by integrating current industry best practices.

• Champions change and supports culture transformation through adoption of analytic and automation skills.

• Optimizes data models through normalization, table analysis, and review of queries.

• Collaborates with others responsible for analytics across the organization to teach techniques and work together to solve data and analytic problems.

• Ensures success of analytics across the company by removing barriers.

• Works with management to assist with employee development and upskilling of junior team members.

• Engages in other duties as needed that support Alliant Energy’s Values and helps deliver on our Purpose to serve customers and build stronger communities.

Required Experience

• 5 years of direct experience in a related field (statistics, performance management, analytics, or research).

• Experience with data modeling and architecting analytics solutions.

• Experience communicating complex data in simple form.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Emphasis in math, statistics, analytics, operations research, computer science or other applicable field.

• Experience working with “Big Data” environments such as Snowflake.

• Experience working with geographically dispersed team.

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.

• Experience working with utilities.
