Description We are looking for a skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team in the financial services industry, located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The role involves a range of tasks that will allow you to utilize and enhance your accounting skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in guiding system implementation projects

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client requirements and prepare gap analyses

• Contribute to platform implementation activities and facilitate end-user education and training

• Define accounting-specific configuration options in line with operational and reporting needs

• Formulate standardized approaches for user reporting hierarchies and custom workflows

• Craft custom reports based on clients' needs leveraging advanced data analysis skills

• Integrate with third-party systems through data mapping

• Oversee client-side acceptance and integration testing

• Assist in designing new features and enhancing platform functionality

• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel. Requirements • Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry

• Demonstrated experience in Public Accounting Audit

• Proven skills in Public Accounting Tax

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in using financial software and databases

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations

• Familiarity with financial regulations and standards.
