[Hydraulics International, Inc (HII) seeks a CNC Mill Leadperson (Lead Machinist) [responsible for overseeing the programming and operation of CNC Lathe and CNC Mill machines in a manufacturing environment. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that production schedules are met, and that the machines are running efficiently and accurately. • Review, negotiate and administer contracts with government agencies, including prime contracts, subcontracts, and modifications Develop and maintain CNC lathe and mill programs for a variety of parts and products.
• Train and supervise CNC Mill and Lathe operators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues as they arise.
• Help assist 2^nd^ shift Supervisor to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programming and machining processes.
• Ensure that safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain and repair CNC Lathe and Mill machines as needed.

• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of CNC lathe and mill G-codes.
• Understanding machining fundamental techniques (feed and speed, choice or proper cutting tools)
• A minimum of 5 years of experience of set-up and operating CNC lathe and mill machines
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is a plus.
