Job Summary:

Datrose is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Chelmsford, MA. This is a temporary position (W2 Only) in Chelmsford, MA and the contract is expected to last approximately 12monthswith the possibility of an extension and a pay rate of $37.31/hr.  This is on-site, so you must be commutable to Chelmsford, MA. Performs fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity. Duties include installation of connectors, substrates, components and modules in highly complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing using paste and sheet epoxies.

This role involves fixing integrated circuit-based systems that fail testing. Tasks include disassembly, assembly, modification, and repair. Work is scheduled independently, and collaboration occurs with Engineering teams.

Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with a previously held active clearance. Interim secret clearance required to start position. (must be included on resume)

Basic Qualifications :

• Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly

• Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination

• Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities

• Ability to work in a diverse team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills

• High School Diploma required

• Second Shift Hours 3:00pm to 1:30am

Desired skills :

• Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment

• Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices

• Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Experience soldering components to printed wiring boards in accordance with J-STD-001
