Sargent & Lundy Recruiter / Sourcing Specialist in Chicago, Illinois

In this role you will join a talented team of collaborative Human Resources professionals that are dedicated to improving the employee experience at Sargent & Lundy. Responsibilities will likely include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter to identify and attract top talent for our company

  • Conduct in-depth searches for qualified candidates using various search engines and tools

  • Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through LinkedIn and other platforms

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates and provide them with a positive candidate experience

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and provide them with qualified candidate profiles and pipelines

  • Manage the recruitment process ensuring a seamless experience for all stakeholders

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest recruitment trends and best practices, and make recommendations to improve our recruitment processes

    This position offers a hybrid schedule with the expectation of 3 days per week in the office, and the remainder remote / virtual.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Recruiter, Sourcing Specialist or similar role

  • Strong experience in identifying and sourcing top talent on LinkedIn

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills

  • Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects independently

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong customer service focus, with bias for action and desire to achieve excellence

  • Ability to diagnose problems and drive appropriate solutions using qualitative and quantitative data

  • Familiarity with internet sourcing skills, such as Boolean search, and job boards like Indeed

  • Passion for process improvement

  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced recruiting environment

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime

    Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Experience at a consulting, professional services, or architecture/engineering firm

  • Experience working with iCIMS
