System One is looking for entry-level candidates for an In-Service Inspector Trainee position.

Summary of Position

The in-service Inspector Trainee works under the direction of our inspection team.  Time in this On the Job Training period will be spent mastering the basic skills required to advance in the inspection field.

Candidates that show basic aptitude (critical thinking) skills will be guided through the process to first acquirer basic Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) certification.  These will include but not be limited to Visual Examination (VT), Magnetic Particle (MT) examination, Liquid Penetrant (PT) examination, Ultrasonic Thickness (UTT) Examination. With the goal of each candidate to become American Petroleum Institute (API) certified inspectors, in the following individual inspection certifications.  API 510 Pressure Vessels, API 570 Piping, and API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank inspection.

The job is generally within a heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within variety fabrication, construction and operating plants.

Required Education/Experience

•             At a minimum a high school diploma or GED is required.

•             Heavy Industrial Experience is preferred.

•             All personnel must have valid drivers' license.

•             Must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America, TWIC card is preferred.

•             Must pass drug and background check.
