The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) months of previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary Operates envelope machine to meet production standards, ensuring product quality of each box and carton.

• Completes required paperwork prior to starting job.
• Organizes parts, tools, and materials.
• Loads envelope blanks in non-web machines and keeps gum and ink flowing.
• Inspects quality of envelopes; includes watching for roll outs, folding problems, gum leaks, printing problems, splits onside, errors in window dimensions.
• Pulls envelope sample, packs envelopes and assembles shipping cartons.
• Handles basic machine jams. Notifies adjuster of any machine problems.
• Maintains quality and quantity production standards.
• Minimizes waste by ensuring waste is segregated properly.
