The PSI Group, a leading manufacturer of corrugated boxes, is seeking General Manufacturing Technicians to join our 1st and 2nd shift teams. General Manufacturing Technicians assist our machine operators and are important team members in our production process. These are entry level, full time positions with the opportunity for on the job training and advancement.Core schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday 5:30am to 3:00pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday5:30am to 9:30am. Core schedule for 2nd shift is Monday through Thursday 3:00pm to 1:00am. These positions do notrequire the ability to rotate shifts. Both shifts require the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the safe operation of all machinery and adhere to all safety rules and initiatives. Oversee machine operations to ensure minimal downtime and excellent finished product quality. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues that happen. Maintain proper documentation and machine entries for each job.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safety first mentality. Mechanical skills. Basic knowledge of industrial machinery. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Team oriented approach. Ability to read a tape measure. Above average organizational skills and detail orientation. Ability to enter product specifications into the computers. Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift. Strong troubleshooting experience.
