As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. Key job responsibilities

  • Leading with vision and change to bring new or evolve existing cutting edge technologies for PVPD

  • Owning, iterating on and aligning with stakeholders on key working backwards artifacts (PRFAQs, BRDs) and team's roadmap, while balancing competing priorities, anticipate and make trade-offs on current and future business needs versus customer desires.

  • Driving trade-offs due to constraints, while anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management and resolving ambiguity, balance competing priorities, and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.

  • Collaborating with technical (SDM, SDEs, QAE, AS, DS), non-technical partners (UX, Marketing, PR, Legal), and global business leaders across PV&S and Amazon to deliver novel modeling experiences.

  • Teaming up with other PMTs to create product strategies and enable new product opportunities (creating reusable APIs and Foundational models for other teams to leverage pursuing customer value).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ease navigating all level to deliver big picture and technical problem and solution definition.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of team management experience

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

  • Experience delivering end to end AI/ML based consumer features with Engineering and Science.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
