As the Controller, you will play a critical role in the financial management of our company. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial reports, conducting quarterly forecasts, monitoring budget variances, implementing standard cost accounting practices, and overseeing accounts payable and payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

  • Prepare journal entries and manage the general ledger.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial performance, including variance analysis and trend identification.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and update quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.

  • Implement and maintain standard cost accounting systems to accurately track product costs and inventory valuation.

  • Monitor overhead and labor rates to ensure cost efficiency and profitability.

  • Oversee accounts payable processes, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment disbursement.

  • Manage payroll functions, including processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

  • Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management in manufacturing,

  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

  • Experience with standard cost accounting systems and inventory management.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications.

  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of developing and motivating high-performing teams.
