Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Software Automation Engineer to join one of largest automotive clients out of Dearborn, Michigan in a hybrid role 3 days a week onsite (there is a possibility for 5 days). This person will join a team responsible for the overall infotainment and new electrical architecture on new fully networked commercial vehicles. This person will be taking requirements, writing test cases, and diagnosing any issues within the software or hardware. This role is not looking for someone who only has previous regression experience; this person will be writing their own test cases, then using the python suite to automate. This person will also be working cross functionally with the rest of the Automation Engineers, as well as the software development teams.

Skills and Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with software requirement experience

• Comfortable writing test cases for manual and automated testing (prefer python - but open to others)

• 5 years of experience in test design

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field - Previous automotive experience

• Infotainment experience

• CAN experience

• Masters Degree null
