Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered up with our client who is the leading provider of industrial gas turbine engines and compressors! We are in search of a Human Resource Assistant to work onsite at our client facility in Desoto, TX!

Job Description:

This position provides HR administrative support in the areas of recruitment & staffing, compensation, personnel records, employee relations, etc. The incumbent will consult and collaborate with other HR employees to ensure consistent application of practices and policies. The position will interface with internal client base managers and employees at all levels and may represent HR on cross-functional teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ideal candidate should have:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally within an HR environment

  • Confidentially and propriety are essential

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaboration, and teamwork

  • Must be flexible and comfortable working in an environment that has multiple conflicting priorities and daily interface with employees/managers at all levels

  • Must have strong computer and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality, accurate, and timely work

  • Knowledge of basic HR principles and procedures, applicable state and federal regulations and laws will be required to learn

  • Experience in PeopleSoft is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Human Resources or Business Degree preferred

Minimum Education Level

Required - High School Diploma or equivalent
