Diamond T Services Inc Landscape Technician in Devine, Texas

[Workers will mow, maintain, and restore while operating tractor mowers with 15' and 20' decks, preferably along roadways and rights-of-way. Work consists of but is not limited to commercial and government projects providing mowing services and at times hand trimming and litter removal. Under general direction from and reporting to the Operations Manager. Other equipment operating experience a plus such shredders, backhoes, front end loaders, trenchers, excavators, forklifts, skid steers, and trucks with trailers. Is responsible for general maintenance and safe operation of said equipment.

[Workers will execute the following task as required: Performs routine inspection and maintenance on vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires. Operate mowing equipment as required. Hand trimming around obstacles in right-of-way. Operates various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping, road and access prep, and related assignments. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Reports on all incidents and attends safety meetings on a regular basis. Workers must be able to climb ladders frequently, lift and carry 55lbs regularly, workday and night shifts operating heavy equipment. Workers must possess or be able to obtain a Texas or International CDL drivers license within 30 days of hire. Background checks and drug screens are conducted post hire and at the employers expense, failure or refusal of a drug screen is grounds for immediate termination, drug screens are conducted randomly, upon suspicion, incident, or accident. Felony convictions of violent crimes or drugs are not eligible for hire.
