This position is responsible for processing the onboarding of agents/agencies by entering application data into appropriate systems. The position is responsible for assisting with auditing agent and agency licensure, Errors and Omissions coverage and State agent files for complaints and license violations. The position is responsible for provisioning of the Producer Portal. This position is responsible for assisting with and enhancing the business relationship between Blue Cross and our agents, agencies, consultants, and brokerages. This is primarily a Teleworker role but you will be required to come to 3 events annually for a day. A Day in the Life: Supports the management of the onboarding of agents/agencies and the appointment process which includes processing agent/agency appointments, licensing, Errors and Omissions coverage, and license renewals for external and internal agents. Audits and nurses agents/agencies are in compliance with contract, state and federal requirements. Develops subsequent communication plans to external and internal agents/agencies for these components. Manages agent and agency appointment transactional data entry into appropriate systems. Supports the tracking and management of the Blue Partner program. Maintains adequate records and communication plans around the monitoring and auditing of the appointment process for internal and external agents. Partners with team and internal business partners to respond to or implement audit plans. Involved in process change and redesign to implement improvements in departmental procedures. Develops and creates departmental reports necessary to manage producer portal and appointment processes. Provides support and helps facilitate the following agent/agency issues: contract implementation, mergers/acquisitions, agent transfers, data updates, termination, member complaints, reports, production, probation, programs etc. as needed. Manages provisioning/de-provisioning transactions of Producer Portal for internal and external agents. Maintains agent locator and agent lists on Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota consumer facing website and internal Sharepoint sites. Nice to Have: Bachelor's degree. 2 years of agent support and/or agent sales experience Exposure to contracts Experience with Medicare 3 years health insurance experience Fundamental knowledge of health insurance regulations at both the state and federal levels. Experience using Docusign, and an Agent Management Software Required Skills and Experiences: 3+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered. Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process. Must be self-motivated with strong initiative to learn. Experience with service and support of licensed professionals. Project management and leadership skills. Ability to analyze information, develop sound recommendations and present data in order to provide effective decision making. Strong organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong emphasis on the ability to build collaborative relationships. Ability to work independently.
