ManpowerGroup Electrical Engineer in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Manpower Engineering is working with a global leader within the medical device industry for an Electrical Engineer opportunity.

Title: Electrical Engineer – Direct Hire

Location: Eden Prairie, MN (ONSITE - flexible as needed)

Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will develop electronics for an electromagnetic positioning system. The Engineer will deploy and maintain electronics as part of a project team that results in a complete, ready to sell electronics based surgical navigation product by a) designing new and maintaining existing schematics and board layouts, b) conducting testing and engineering studies to ensure performance, c) communicating status and results.

Requirements:

• Required: BS or Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

• Required: 5 years’ development experience in the medical device field

• Proven experience developing complete products

• Electrical systems development, troubleshooting, documentation, and testing experience in a regulated industry, medical device preferred

• Hands-on experience in electrical systems deployment to medical device targets

Preferred Requirements:

• Strong experience designing in Altium

• Experience designing, prototyping, and testing RF circuits and components

• Solid understanding of electromagnetic principles

• Experience with electronics schematic capture and layout tools
