JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager who will be responsible for managing and directing production activities within an industrial cut and sew facility utilizing both internal production and international contractors by performing the following duties. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating with different departments in the manufacturing facility to ensure all production goals are met daily, help problem solve, plan and organize production schedules and implement quality control standards aligned with production goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations or equivalent required.

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Experience on cut and sewing machines – preferably at cities at the US border with Mexico.

Proven track record of developing good and sustainable customer relationships.

Must have basic skills experience on US and Mexico customs.

Experience reading garment specifications and bill of materials consistently.

Prior experience as Supervisor in a production environment strongly preferred.

MS Office – intermediate Excel, Teams, Quickbooks, SharePoint, Outlook required.

Experience working with maquiladoras (Mexican contractors).

Working in a Continuous Improvement / LEAN manufacturing environment required.

5S experience, problem solving (5 why’s a / PDCA)

Prior experience working on a safety committee preferred.
