Fortive Corporation Electronics Repair Technician in Everett, Washington

About the Job

Come join our team as an Electronics Repair Technician! In this role, you will troubleshoot and repair a variety of electronic assemblies and instruments to deliver high-quality Biomedical Test Devices to our customers. Responsibilities

  • Functionally test, troubleshoot to the component level, repair, rework, calibrate, inspect, and certify a variety of electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and completed instruments.

  • Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation.

  • Perform moderate to complex repair on a wide variety of production line instruments that have failed in previous testing or in operational use.

  • Under limited supervision, conduct routine work assignments with no instruction and conduct new assignments with general instruction.

    Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent, with at least 3 years related experience.

  • Proficient with various test instruments such as microscope, oscilloscopes, power supplies, calibrators, and digital multi-meters.

  • Soldering (including SMT and through-hole) and electrical cable assembly skills.

  • Solid understanding of electrical technology/terminology and ability to interpret schematics, engineering documents, and maintenance manuals.

  • Thorough knowledge of digital, analog circuits, and electronic circuits to perform complex repairs.

  • Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office programs.

  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment preferred.

Everett, WA: The hourly range for this position is $34.83 - $64.69

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
