Job Description

Volt Workforce Solutions in partnership with a local company that provides electronic manufacturing services, is in search of a Micro Assembly Technician to join their Everett team . This is a possible Temp to Hire position with a company that has been recognized for its great work environment and culture so please apply today!

Job Duties:

  • Assemble printed circuit boards, electronic components, subassemblies, or systems using a variety of materials and tools

  • Perform Micro Assembly and Micro Soldering under a microscope

  • Perform soldering of ‘plated’ through-hole components or surface mount components

  • Read and perform assigned tasks in accordance with manufacturing process instructions (MPIs), production drawings, sample assemblies, and verbal instructions

  • Follow proper Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) procedures at all times


  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least 7 years of experience in advanced Micro Assembly work or equivalent combination of education/training and experience

  • Familiarity with use of calibrated tools used for assembly, measurement and verification, such as pneumatic power tools, torque drivers or critical measurement tools such as calipers and pin or hole gauges is required

  • Soldering experience required and working knowledge of IPC A-610 specifications

  • Excellent manual dexterity
