Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Metal Fabricator to join a great team that will get the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and work in a positive, motivated work environment that offers on-the-job training and coaching!
You’ll get the chance to assemble structural metal products using a large variety of tools and machines. Not to mention, you’ll interpret blueprints, drawings and other written/verbal instructions and then weigh in on project scope and requirements. This is a great chance for a dependable hard worker to build solid experience and grow!
Study and interpret assembly instructions
Fabricate and assemble structural metal products
Read and interpret blueprints and sketches
Operate various fabrication equipment
Quality checks, quantity verification, cleaning, sorting and labeling parts
Safe forklift operation
Be able to lift and move up to 75lbs
Standing and walking comprise most of a shift
Basic math skills with the ability to use measuring tools accurately
At least 6 months of experience working in a fabrication/warehouse setting
Candidates must be able to read, write and communicate English
The ability to read and understand blue prints is a must
Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 75lbs as well as stand and walk for a majority of their shift
Position: Temp to hire
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, Fridays- Possible overtime
Pay: $15-$18/HR DOE
