Our client, a local truss manufacturer is seeking a Truss Assembler to join their team. As a Truss Assembler, you will be part of a team responsible for assembling components and creating a finished product. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, commitment to safety, and team focus which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler - Wood Trusses

Location: Folkston, GA

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.

• Completes pre-shift/start up equipment inspection checklist and reports problems or concerns.

• Fits parts together with prescribed instructions using hand tools as required to complete assembly process.

• Properly stacks completed trusses and if required may cover, label, and band components/finishes trusses.

What’s Needed?

• Minimum 6 months of experience assembling components; 1 year of experience or more is preferred.

• Working knowledge of basic math.

• Ability to use and operate hand tools, nail guns, drills, etc.

• Ability to read a measuring tape.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
